Touissit Anglesites are arguably the best in the world and rarely come on matrix, or in large size. This impressive, large, and aesthetic cluster consists of gemmy, super-sharp, bladed crystals with a light yellow tint, all on a Galena matrix. In excellent condition, the largest crystal reaches a significant 5.5 cm. The Anglesites have a bright, golden-yellow fluorescence (much better than the photo was able to capture), and the fluorescence reveals the well-defined phantoms within. Quite possibly from the classic finds of the 1980s, rarely do you find Anglesite crystals so large, freestanding, and well-exposed above the matrix. Classic, highly desirable material. This is a special display sized specimen with unusual presence. From the collections of Martin Zinn and Kurt Hefendehl.
