Partially encased in a matrix of white marble, is a splendid, lustrous and partially translucent, doubly terminated, emerald green crystal of chrome diopside, 2.8 cm in length. Old classic, rarely seen in aesthetic crystals. So sharp it looks like it could be Italian - we've never seen one so sharp from this old locality!
