This is a brilliantly splendent galena crystal with superb luster along with a rich metallic gray color. It is complete on the display sides, cleaved only in the back where it contacted matrix. Most of these are massive and poorly dimensional, whereas this crystal really leaps out! This old time specimen is accompanied by a label denoting the Ralph E. Merrill collection and dated July 1, 1954. These are a thing of the past, and seldom seen for sale today. The fancy, sleek look of the crystals and the complex modifications make them really stand out.
