Here is a complete, doubly terminated, gem, and floater crystal (complete 360 degrees all around) of pink Kunzite from recent finds in Nuristan, Afghanistan. This lustrous crystal is well-formed with defined prism faces and complex terminations on either end and the broad faces are attractively striated and make light shimmer off their surfaces imparting almost a silky luster. Ends of this crystal exhibit lustrous, complex, jagged terminations, and looking down each end (the c-axis) the medium lilac color is apparent. The crystal is complete and is a colorful, intact crystal with great character and a mass of 57.1 grams. THis is typical material in the sense that there are a lot of them around the market, BUT this is a particularly special and aesthetic example in the size class.
