This is simply a stunning aquamarine gem thumbnail - photos and video show quite clearly how special this is. The main crystal is 2.3 cm tall and looks MACHINED. It is perfection. It is clean and transparent. At detail, there are tiny and mesmerizing features of surface detail on some edges, as well. It has just the right amount of matrix to make it a killer matrix thumbnail, without overshadowing the crystal or making it too big for a competition thumbnail. One of the few thumbnails kept in the Larson/Pala beryl collection, this is there for a reason amongst all the larger items. It stood out. And, in a competitive thumbnail case in particular, it would do the same.
