Combinations of aquamarine and schorl make for a great color contrast, really highlighting the blue of the aquamarine in this case. This piece most likely came out in a special find of 2006-2007, notable for exactly this combination and style, and the likes of which has not been seen since (a pocket I bought at the time in partnership with Marshall Sussman, direct from the source). The aquamarine is very intense in color for Namibia, quite distinct from aquamarine colors of Pakistan or Brazil. This crystal, 5.5 cm tall, has a glassy top - and when we say glassy, we mean as in windex-cleaned window glass "glassy" at the highest level of sparkle! The two crystals are in nice balance, and the piece is complete all around 360 degrees, robust, and impactful. We have not seen one of these turn up on the market, of this quality, in perhaps a decade.
