A significant copper from ANY locality, this is especially good for this African mine, with its combination of so many crystal styles including the large cubic crystals you see here. The front or display side of this specimen is a solid mass of copper crystals with many of the smaller crystals being cubes or modified cubes. The larger crystals appear to have undergone some alteration, in luster and form, with the largest of these reaching 2 cm in length. On the upper right hand section of the display side is an exquisite tetrahxahedron, measuring 3.5 mm across, perched on a dendritic copper thread. The back side of the specimen is loaded with copper dendrites, in the form of spinel twins. From each side, it looks entirely different! A truly amazing specimen for the size, complexity, and the locality, like none I have yet seen from here.
