A large thumbnail example of cavansite but not the typical thumbnail-sized "ball" of crystals. Here we have a nice elongated growth of clusters, like a worm, linked together. It has a very very bright, saturated color, and a nice accent of white stilbite. Also, unlike most, this has the highest sparkly luster. Luster and color together make it pop to a higher level of play while either alone, just make for a nice little rock. It really is quite exceptional and unusual, in person. Includes original watercolor painting by Gamini Ratnavira, as shown in 6x6 inch custom frame (he used to do commission paintings for mineral collectors in Southern California primarily, and charged $500-750 per painting).
