Stannite from the Yaogangxian mine in China came out, in this style, in the 1990s and provided specimens to all who appreciate the rare sulfides. This particularly elegant style, with armadillo-like balls of radiating crystals combined with gem quartz points, was the classic of the time. The main grouping is just over 2.5 cm across. This is from the old Chinese minerals collection of Dr Steve Smale.
