Ping Wu's famous aquamarines are famous not for color but for the astonishing sharp shapes that they have at their best, and sometimes combined with clarity and sparkle at the highest level. This miniature features several sharp, razor sharp aquamarines to 2 cm across, showing the classic hexagonal form for this location. It is a balanced miniature with a stark white feldspar crystal for contrast, and from old finds (1990s or early 2000s). While common enough on the market, they are not common with this precise and machined quality to the crystals.
