Nicely perched on a bit of matrix is a stacked cluster of lustrous and translucent, lemon-yellow spheres to 1 cm in length, of mimetite. Mimetite spheres from this deposit are arguably the best in the world. They were found only one time in late 1968, sold over the next few years at Tucson, and then never seen again! For a thumbnail, of which there were few enough truly great ones, this is as good as you can ask for. It has the sparkle and highest color saturation!
