This is a gorgeous, competitive thumbnail diamond specimen; and it is a sparkling diamond with adamantine luster and a pleasing slightly off-white color, sharp and complete all around. Rare re-entrant diamond form exhibiting cube faces that are highly depressed relative to the edges and corners, giving this a mesmerizing symmetry that has more and more detail as you look at it. From: diamond dealer and expert Paul Bell during Tucson January-February 2015 hotel show. 8.57 carats, perfectly symmetrical, and NOT like all the other "smooth" octahedra out there, so it stands out in a case with amazing reflections and crystal detail.
