Quite rare in quality like this, this is a choice example of the Aragonite and Adamite combinations from the Hilarion Mine in Lavrion. The Aragonites are exceptionally rich as they sit on a plate of gemmy, lustrous, and sharp Adamite microcrystals and matrix. Rising up like a dense forest, the curvaceous, terminated crystals reach up to about 1.4 cm in length, and their uniformity adds much to the aesthetic appeal. Gemmy internally, the mostly-frosted surfaces create a nice visual texture that is almost sculptural in nature. These elongated crystals even have a soft, moonglow-like white fluorescence. Collected in 2018, this small-cabinet specimen is one of the best, and most appealing, of these combinations that I have seen. NOTE: hand delivery to be arranged and required. We do not want to ship this, although it is quite solid to handle.
