This very large intergrown crystal (4.6 x 2.2 x 2.6 cm) of the rare earth carbonate parisite-(Ce) is very good for the species. Typical of the locality, the crystal exhibits an encrustation of secondary minerals, however, portions exhibit a beautiful honey-brown transparent colour much looked-after for the species. The parisite is perched atop of a large aegirine crystal and the contrast of both colours and forms are incredibly aesthetic. Superb and balanced example with a really large museum-sized example of this species.
