A large, dramatic, saturated red crystal of the rare beryl species pezzottaite, from the most important single large pocket of the species found to date, in 2003. Crystals of this size are now very rare, and hard to find. It remains one of the rarest of gem species, and no significant find has been made since 2005. 5.44 grams
