Dioptase specimens from Tsumeb (circa early 1980s) perched on white Calcite are generally considered to be the most aesthetic of the classic Tsumeb Dioptases. Glassy and gemmy, the largest of these rich emerald-green Dioptase crystals is an impressive 1.3 cm, with great internal reflections. The overall piece is outstanding and beautiful, a choice miniature for this important find without breaking the bank as they usually do.
