Siderite, Sphalerite cast after Calcite

Clustered together on matrix are epimorphs of lustrous siderite (mixed with micro-sphalerite) after calcite. The tan to bronze colored crystals reach 5.7 cm In length. Epimorphs are hollow shells or molds left by minerals that have overgrown initial species which have since dissolved. An unusual, onetime find of this weird material! Sparkly, and hard to convey in photos, this is one of the better examples
