A CLASSIC, OLD-TIME natrolite specimen from the German Type Locality - Hohentwiel Mountain, Baden-Wurttemberg. Tan, radial aggregates of natrolite line a vug on gray host rock. They look like starbursts. Undamaged natrolite also lines the vug, which makes for a neat association. This rich and showy old-timer comes from an old European collection, where everything dates to the 1800s.
