A stunning GEM crystal! Blessed with an outstanding termination, this fine, water-clear Aquamarine is from the famous mining state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The light, blue-green tint to the Aqua is very attractive, and the crystal form is excellent (attachment point on the bottom, of course). The complex termination is sharp and complex, and there is only a small amount of edge wear from what must have been a difficult mining process. At 37 grams, this is a very fine, attractive Aqua that well-represents the classic "seafoam blue color" old finds in the Marambaia area, of Minas Gerais. Even better in person than the pics, this Aqua lights up when displayed. At #2815, this is a relatively early Kay piece.
