Nestled aesthetically among flowers of white cerussite is a well formed, lustrous and translucent, golden yellow crystal of anglesite, reaching 1.5 cm in length. Association of malachite at the base of the crystal provides a green contrast. The unusual color of the anglesite, which really does look like a wulfenite at first glance, may be due to some copper inclusions, but it IS indeed anglesite (I had it probed by RAMAN). The association is typical for Tsumeb, just not with such nice aesthetics. This is simply a unique specimen, the likes of which I haven't seen among literally thousands of pieces from the now-closed mine.
