Emplaced aesthetically on matrix along with a layer of snow-white natrolite, are several very lustrous, black neptunite crystals to 2.3 cm in length. The largest neptunite is particularly dramatic and fat (8mm), making this a stellar and impactful display-quality miniature, much more than merely a typical representative piece. An added bonus is a blue benitoite crystal measuring 4 mm in length. Al traded this from mine owner Buzz Gray, in 1976, per his label.
