A fine, richly crystallized cluster of scintillating, "ruby silver" Proustite crystals from the famous Erzgebirge of Saxony, Germany. The gemmy, cherry-red color is aptly called "ruby silver." When backlit the piece shows a super, cherry-red color saturation and gemminess. The central crystal is about 1 cm in length, blocky, with excellent luster and the famous Proustite striations. Across the top, the gemmy, bladed crystal is about 7 mm long. A terrific, quality thumbnail. Ex. Georg Gebhard collection.
