Splendent, thick tabular, "sandwich-style," caramel-colored wulfenite crystals richly and beautifully covered the 3-dimensional mounded matrix of calcite covered with vanadinite variety endlichite on this showy and excellent specimen from the famed Ahumada Mine at Los Lamentos, Mexico. Highly lustrous, "sandwich-style" wulfenites on white calcite are a classic and desirable wulfenite varietal from this very well-known locale. Crystals reach 9 mm. Ex. Karl Warning and Colonel Barron Collections.
