This is a wonderful specimen of purple creedite, highly prized from anywhere, be it the U.S., Russia or Mexico - specimens with large, gemmy crystals such as this are quite rare and difficult to obtain! The crystals here are up to a centimeter in length, with wonderful clarity, luster and lavender color. There are some contacted crystals at one edge, but overall the crystals are in great shape. Probably from the mid-1980s finds., out of the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen.
