This is a classic combination from this locality - sharp, gemmy crystals of uvite tourmaline on stark white contrasting magnesite. Of the two colors these take, the red is the rarer one. This fine, glassy, sharp crystal measures 0.7 cm. Under strong light, it shows an intense blood-red gemminess.
