Typically found in pegmatites, Fluornatromicrolite is a rare tantalum oxide with fluorine, redefined from "microlite" in 1998. This superb and rare small cabinet features a four gemmy, honey-yellow Fluornatromicrolite octahedra with dodecahedral modifications sitting on a white matrix. The largest octahedron is 9 mm tip to tip, and the luster and form are outstanding. This is simply the finest Fluornatromicrolite quality I have seen from the region (rather, this pocket is) - the quality and aesthetics are exemplary for one crystal, let alone four. Old material from about 2005.
