Gem-like, water-clear calcite scalenohedrons are richly and aesthetically scattered on vuggy matrix coated with beautifully contrasting green mottramite on this EXCELLENT Tsumeb specimen. The longest calcite is 1.2 cm. Sharp Tsumeb calcite scalenohedrons, such as these, are RARE, with most forms being rhombohedrons. This outstanding specimen is from the Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb collector.
