A beautiful set of lustrous, deep-green malachite crystals nestled in a pocket of very fine cobaltoan calcite crystals. The blocky and sharp 1 cm malachites against the rich pink make a fine combination. Primary malachite, that has formed on its own chemical bonds and not without subverting and replacing a previous fine azurite crystal, is rare in this magnitude. This is a very robust primary malachite crystal with unusually developed termination. Ex. Charlie Key Collection.
