This really showy specimen features a CLASSIC, 1.5 cm, gemmy and lustrous, "hot" pink tourmaline embedded in the termination of one of two glassy, smoky quartz crystals. A super-gemmy and glassy, 2.3 cm, pink morganite is also nested in the bed of pearlescent cleavelandite blades. OLD and choice material from the 1960s or 70s. Ex. Chris Korpi San Diego collection.
