A fine scalenohedron of calcite from a place not much known for fine mineral specimens! These turn up only occasionally on the market. To boot, this translucent crystal has a very sharp PHANTOM inside of it! The phantom is caused by inclusions of cinnabar (this is a famous locality for cinnabar and mercury species) .
