A very large, unbelievably rich specimen of cavansite out of the collection of Ed David, with what must be 100 intergrown balls of bright peacock blue crystals! The cavansite is on a contrasting bed of sparkly micro stilbite crystals. This was an older specimen among the first rich plates to come out in the 90s, and few finds of cavansite since have equaled the sheer splendant richness of these early finds, though we now get larger crystals in isolated clusters. Ex. Ed David collection.
