A large (6.5 cm across), transparent to translucent, very lustrous crystal of aquamarine, of tabular hexagonal form, dominates this rich aquamarine specimen. Three other crystals of similar form crowd around it. Tabular aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the aquamarines from Mt. Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot. The color on this particular piece is a rich sky-blue.
