A rich pink morganite crystal from Afghanistan. The gemmy and lustrous, hexagonal crystal is a complete-all-around, undamaged floater, but is unetched to heavily etched, with frosted faces. Most of the frontal face and part of the top face is water-clear and you can look right into the center of the crystal. All of the other faces are etched and frosted. A highly representative, fairly large example of the species and locale. Weighs 186 grams.
