Arsenopyrite is common enough, these days. But this piece is just so exquisite it leaped out at me when I saw it. It features a number of crystals intricately interlinked, like an "X" upon a bar. There is a tendency to view arsenopyrite as common and not worthy of high prices, but I paid for this based on the fact that it is a great mineral specimen, period, and I know it seems expensive but I'd maintain that the difference between this piece with its extra sculptural quality warrants it. Pristine and complete, all around!
