A rare combination specimen of sharp, white dolomite rhombs enclosed in a transparent gypsum cleavage from the Penfield Quarry of New York. The interior looks like a dolomite crystal garden in a lucite box. The Penfield Quarry is a road metal quarry in the Lockport Dolomite. Ex. Mullane Collection.
