A dazzling large specimen from a find at the end of last year in China! These "pagoda" calcites look like stacks of progressively smaller flat plates. Each stack consists of intergrown, flattened pyramidal crystals (a modification of the rhombohedral form). They form beautiful 3-D towers. The luster is superb, and the color is a really pretty pastel pink.
