Franckeite is a rare sulfosalt. This is a fine and very rich, pristine specimen of two intergrown, ball-like clusters of starburst-shaped clusters of splendent, elongated franckeite needles. This is undoubtably an older specimen from some small finds at the San Jose Mine of Bolivia where they found franckeite and potosiite some 60 years ago. Ex. Carlton Davis Collection.
