This turned up at the show in an old collection. It is a 1.8 kilo single crystal, complete all around with only the most minor of edge wear despite its size, age, and weight. It is from M'Fouti, Congo, circa 1960s (so I am told by charlie key, who confirmed its locality of origin and pronounced it a "monster!"). It is believed to be the world's largest fine crystalline example of the species.
