What is most distinguished about this specimen is how this very large, DOUBLY-TERMINATED aquamarine crystal is cupped and showcased by a surrounding shell of sparkly muscovite, This is truly unique - just about every one you see has a crystal or crystals sticking up from the matrix, but not exposed top to bottom like this, with both terminations showing! This was just a lucky anomaly in how this crystal grew. The aquamarine itself is gemmy for the top inch and translucent to transparent through the bottom (it measures a very impressive 10.5 cm) ! The faces are very lustrous. There is NO damage or contact on this crystal. A large show-stopper of a specimen that could hold its own in any collection.
