The fingers of very lustrous and translucent, light apple-green prehnite, range in size and shape from nubs to delicate, elongate appendages up to 4.25 cm in length. There is no damage or repair to any of the prehnite fingers, unlike classic old museum pieces of this style. The bottom face exhibits hollow casts of what were once anhydrite. In the photos, the piece shows less relief than it does in person because it is actually quite complex and 3-dimensional when you see it in person. A beautiful piece, very large and dramatic.
