Very appealing specimen of lustrous orange-red Vanadinites resting on contrasting grey-black Goethite. The largest is .9 cm. The Vanadinites are quite gemmy, and they have the gorgeous orange-red caps on top of the gemmy portion that we have seen only in the specimens from this one lot. These Vanadinites on Goethite have become classics because of the beautiful contrast, but these with the caps are even more desirable. Very aesthetic and attractive all the way around. Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
