Uvite and Magnesite

Uvite and magnesite are a classic combo from this Brazilian locality. Usually, the magnesite merely "accents" the uvites. But here, you have at one end of the specimen a group of lustrous, deep red uvites (the more rare color, I should add), and at the other end, a large, razor-sharp rhomb of magnesite that stands out from the smaller ones. This gives the specimen a beautiful balance, I think, and sets it apart from the more common material that emphasizes only one of the two species.
