Very few sliced and polished specimens qualify for inclusion in fine mineral collections. Sliced and polished variscite sections are among those select few that are truly acceptable, in our opinion, for their beauty and rarity for species. This section starts with a glorious apple green center of variscite surrounded by concentric circles of yellow crandallite, followed by rims and bulls eyes of gray wardite and white millisite. An exceptional example for aesthetics and color contrast, this is definitely older material.
