An amazing example of the phenomena of crystal inclusions, where over a dozen little purple fluorite crystals can be clearly seen inside a transparent quartz crystal. The fluorites grew on the surface of the quartz at some point during the formation of the quartz crystal - then the growth of the quartz crystal continued, engulfing the little fluorites so that now they can be clearly seen inside the crystal.
