Beryl (Var: Emerald)
Though translucent and not cutter-quality by any means, this 1.7-cm emerald crystal is certainly good for China - which of course is not known for gem emerald material at any rate. It has bright green color and about half the crystal, with sharp faces, is showing above the matrix in which it is embedded.
