When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the modern age of mineral collecting. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially in the Shigar Valley. This crystal is a very good quality, sharp, gem quality crystal with top glassy luster and a good rich blue color for a crystal this size. A few accenting Feldspar crystals and an unknown black inclusion make for a great gem pencil from this world famous locality. 7.2 x 1.2 x 0.9cm
