Exhibiting parallel growth, this cluster of quartz crystals, to 7.5 cm in length, is on a feldspar, quartz matrix. The crystals are glassy and gemmy and all the crystals are invested with brown colored, hematite inclusions. I particularly like the way the terminal faces are more deeply colored than the prisms.
