Pachapaqui Pyrites are not normally as well-crystallized as this specimen, so finding and having this specimen is a real treat. This small cab plate is composed of lustrous and striated, highly modified cubes, associated with well-formed rhombs of white Calcite. The largest Pyrite is about 2 cm, with many of the Calcites (on the perimeter and bottom) in the .6 -.9 cm range. The aesthetics of this small cab are quite good no matter what the location, and especially good for Pachapaqui.
