Description
A large, 3-dimensional specimen with a huge display face just chock full of 1.5 to 2 cm crystals! These crystals are really sharp and a little thinner than other specimens', so they are also a bit more translucent. And fragile... there is some minimal damage to the core and damage around the periphery. The crystals have a deep red color, tinged by slight brown hue possibly from matrix inclusions. Judicious picking and trimming could improve the periphery considerably, if you spend a little time. It is, nonetheless, a lot of eye candy and a huge amount of good China wulfenite for the price, as is. In a case, it is very showy!
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
