Description
Choice combination specimen of Helvine, an uncommon manganese, beryllium silicate, and Arsenopyrite, from the well-known Huanggang Fe-Sn deposit. The super-sharp Helvine crystals are triangular, and certainly give the impression of being tetragonal although Helvine is actually isometric. These crystals, which are up to 1.2 cm across, have an attractive, deep-flesh tone color to them, and they overlap and cluster in such a way as to look for all the world like a succulent. VERY aesthetic and interesting appearance. Associated with the Helvines are a series of smaller and etched Arsenopyrites that have a bright, metallic luster. There is even a dusting of Chlorite on the bottom that adds color and interest to this very fine specimen. IN the size range, one of the more aesthetic examples! Ex Steve Smale collection (Note: some of these are zoned Genthelvite, but I suspect you have to analyze multiple spots of each crystal to determine the majority. To be safe, these should probably be labeled as Helvite/Genthelvite together).

Arsenopyrite Sales Data
How this data is collected: Our system continuously monitors mineral listings from authorized dealer partners across the internet. We have explicit permission from all dealers whose listings we track - any dealers who have not provided specific and explicit authorization are NOT listed and NOT tracked by our system. When a previously available listing is marked as sold or removed from sale, we record this as a completed transaction. While we cannot guarantee the exact final sale price (as negotiations may occur), this data represents publicly listed prices for specimens that have transitioned from "for sale" to "sold" status. This provides valuable market insights based on observable listing behavior patterns.
